Sixth Graders Become Teachers

Helping Out
One of the best things about ACS is that the big kids are always willing to help out the little kids. Several times this week, the fifth graders joined the kindergarten and first graders for math class while their classmates were taking the science NECAP test.

Track Math
When the weather gets warm here at ACS, we take math class outside with track math. Kids work on task cards set up in 4 locations around our dirt track. They complete one task at each station before moving on to the next one. It is a great way to practice important math concepts while getting some extra exercise and enjoying the sunshine!
